i-Derma
The i-Derma is an innovative hand-held micro-dermabrasion device that allows the individual to conveniently perform exfoliation at home or on travel. i-Derma treatment technique
Eye area – avoid using the i-derma on the eye area due to the vacuum function.
Facial area – move from bottom up in a circular motion.
Neck area – move from top down following a "z" shape.
Scars – do the "z" shape movement across uneven skin areas.
i-Derma microdermabrasion operation procedure
1. Clean the face with a suitable facial cleanser.
2. Use a mild exfoliating gel on the face.
3. Activate the device – operation timeframe should be between 10-15 minutes, for sensitive skin, this should be shortened.
(a) Plug into power point, turn on the device and select the appropriate intensity depending on skin condition.
(b) When applying on the facial area, start on the cheeks so as to select the intensity.
(c) Make sure to keep the i-derma clear of the eye area during the treatment.
(d) The treatment time should be kept under 20 minutes, for sensitive skin this should be kept shorter with lower intensity.
(e) Turn off the device immediately after use.
4. Apply a mild hydrating toner.
5. Use a moisturizing, nutrient facial mask; apply for 15 – 20 minutes.
6. Choose an appropriate moisturizing cream.
7. Apply spf15 sun protection cream.
i-Derma recommended treatment sessions
For standard skin types: 1 session every 10 days.
For sensitive skin types: 1 session every 20 days.
i-Derma treatment advice
1. For people with sensitive or delicate skin, sun-protection cream should be applied after the treatment.
2. Foundation is not recommended to be worn during treatment so as to avoid irritation.
3. Cease treatment immediately if severe redness or inflammation appears, then apply ice to reduce the symptoms.
4. Slight redness will occur on all skin types during treatment; this is the skin's normal reaction, not allergy.
5. When performing treatment at home, some home moisturizing products can be used to make the treatment more effective.
6. If cleaning alcohol has been used to sterilize the device, do not use straight away so as to avoid irritating the skin. wait for the alcohol to evaporate before operating.
7. Avoid contact with hot water or spa therapy after the treatment.
Extra tips when using i-Derma
1. Do not unplug the power cord while the device is switched on; always turn off the switch first.
2. When cleaning the i-derma, do not rinse with water, use a damp cloth or cotton ball dipped in cleaning alcohol for wiping.
3. Make sure to adjust the intensity during use based on skin condition.
4. Use a brush to clean the device after each treatment.
Caution
1. Do not use this device on the eye area.
2. Discontinue the use of this device immediately if any discomfort is caused.
3. Switch off the device immediately if there is any unusual noise.
4. Switch off the device immediately if it appears to be abnormally hot.
5. Do not touch shaft of the motor, abrasive duct, etc. While the device is switched on.
6. Do not use this device if you are suffering from a skin disease.
7. Store this device in a dry area.
8. Make sure the abrasive plate is in normal condition before use. Any malfunction, distortion or damage may cause skin injury.
9. Do not push the abrasive plate forcefully; stopping the abrasive plate during operation may lead to overload, causing malfunction.
10. Do not concentrate the abrasive plate on one area for a prolonged period of time; this may generate frictional heat, possibly causing pain and injury.
11. Do not use this device for more than 20 minutes at a time.

14. Do not operate the device in areas where flammable or combustible products or vapors may be present.
15. Clean only with soft brush or cloth. Never immerse or wash the device with water.
