• About the Exfoliare

An extended area of thickened skin can form on areas of pressure and repetitive friction. The formation of such is causing by an accumulation of dead skin cells that harden and thicken over an area of the body. It is the body's reaction to pressure or friction, and can appear anywhere the skin rubs against a bone, tools, hard clothing, shoes, or the ground. If left untreated it may become painful and lead to other complications. The skin will continue to thicken and the pain can worsen. After a while the body will start treating it as a foreign body and an ulcer can develop, which can cause serious infections.

The Exfoliare (also know as the Egg) is a portable body exfoliator designed for the individual who wishes to perform their own body exfoliating treatments at home and on travel. The Exfoliare effectively abrades areas of excess thick skin and dead skin layers. Not only will this give the skin a smoother and more polished appearance, it will also increase the skin's metabolism, and increasing its nutrient absorption levels. The Exfoliare can be applied anywhere with thick or rough skin, such as the hands, elbows, knees, and feet. Each device comes with a pair of uniquely designed Cosmetic Gloves and Cosmetic Socks.

Using the Bio Gel technology, the Cosmetic Gloves contain ingredients like squalene essence, Hawaiian nut oil, sweet almond oil and wheat embryo oil. The Cosmetic Gloves conveniently firms, hydrates, and moisturizes the skin epidermis. Also getting rid of the dead skin cells, softens hard skin, while repairing damaged skin and improving skin conditions in general, leaving you with soft and silky hands.

Aloe Oil – has remarkable healing abilities because it is a natural oxygenator, it is one of the most effective cellular renewal ingredients available for use in cosmetics; extremely soothing and protective.

Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate – a pure product obtained from licorice root; it is used as an active ingredient for skin care formulations with claims of anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory, calming, anti-allergic, soothing properties, helps to reduce redness and oily skin improvement.

Sodium Hyaluronate – the key water maintaining substance in human skin, it can form an air permeable layer and keeps the skin moist and smooth.

Acylated Homosering Lactone – increases nutrient to the skin, effectively tightens the skin.

• Treatment Procedure
  • Cleanse hands with a moisturizing cleanser.
  • Apply a skin exfoliating lotion or gel and massage for about 3 – 5 minutes, then rinse with water.
  • Apply the skin firming or lotion then massage for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Wear the Cosmetic Gloves for 30 – 45 minutes.
  • If a skin care mask has applied earlier, rinse off with water then apply a moisturizing cream or lotion.
• Note: treatment is recommended to be performed 2 – 3 times a week.

Main Ingredients:

• Tocopheryl Phosphate – also known as Vitamin E, it is the major naturally occurring lipid-soluble antioxidant protecting skin from the adverse effects of oxidative stress including photo-aging.
• Disodium Dodecylimide Dipropanoate - has anti-inflammation properties, gets rid of swelling.
• NMF – naturally occurring hydrating agents, increases the skin's moisture.
• Sodium Hyaluronate – the key water maintaining substance in human skin, it can form an air permeable layer and keeps the skin moist and smooth.
• Gotu Kola PE – effectively repairs damaged skin, increases the skin's healing property.

Soothing Lotion

Soothes skin and repairs injured cells. This lotion reduces scars and pigmentation, regenerates skin to its smooth original condition.

Treatment Procedure

• Soak feet in warm water for about 20 minutes.
• Apply a skin exfoliating lotion or gel to the feet and massage gently for about 5 minutes, then rinse with water.
• Apply the soothing lotion to the feet.
• Wear the Cosmetic Socks for 30 – 45 minutes.
• If a skin care mask has applied earlier, rinse off with water then apply a moisturizing cream or lotion.
Note: treatment is recommended to performed 2 – 3 times a week.

Device Operation Steps

1.Plug the adapter into the wall outlet and connect to the Exfoliare.

2.Select an appropriate abrasive plate depending on the area of intended use.

3.Set the operation level to 1.

4.Grip the Egg firmly, then apply to skin to abrade the dead tissue.

5.For a thicker skin areas, operate the device on level 2.

6.Turn off switch after use.

7.Disconnect the adapter.

8.Perform maintenance (see below).

Recommended Procedure (Match Solution Treatment)

1.Cleanse the intended area of treatment with warm water (for feet treatment, soak the feet in warm water for 20 minutes).

2.Apply a skin exfoliating lotion or gel and massage for about 5 minutes, then rinse off with water.

3.Apply the Exfoliare treatment.

4.Rinse the abraded area with warm water, then dry with a clean towel.

5.Apply the Soothing Lotion if the skin feels irritated or becomes red after treatment. Apply Skin Firming Lotion on wrinkled skin or if the skin feels dry after treatment.

6.For hands and feet treatment, wear the Cosmetic .

7.Gloves and/or Cosmetic Socks for 30 – 45 minutes after using the Exfoliare.

8.If a skin care mask has applied earlier, rinse off with water then apply a moisturizing cream or lotion.

Note: treatment is recommended to performed 2 – 3 times a week.

Tips

1.In order to use the Exfoliare effectively, make adjustments to the speed and applied pressure depending on the condition and thickness of the skin. Use the apparatus on level 1 for moderate conditions while level 2 is recommend for more conditions that are stubborn.

2.There are 3 types of abrasive plates that come with the Exfoliare; choose the appropriate grit size according to the area to be treated. The fine plate can used on general body areas, the medium plate can be used for thick skin on the hands, elbow and knees, while the rough plate can be used for callus abrasion on the feet.

3.If the tissue appears to be tough, apply more pressure. This will increase the force of the abrasive plate while reducing its operation speed.

4.Keep upper part of the debris shield towards your face so as to protect face from flying debris. Adjust the angle of the shield with the tip of the Egg.

Maintenance

1.Turn the protection shield clockwise to detach from the Egg.

2.Detach the abrasive plate vertically from the debris container.

3.Empty the debris from the container.

4.Clean the container with the brush.

5.Reassemble the parts.

Caution

1. Discontinue the use of this device immediately if any discomfort is caused.
2. Switch off the device immediately if there is any unusual noise.
3. Switch off the device immediately if it appears to be abnormally hot.
4. Do not touch shaft of the motor, abrasive duct, etc. while the device is switched on.
5. The Egg should stay more than 20cm away from your face when turned on.
6. Be careful as not to let debris to get into eyes, nose, mouth and ears.
7. Do not use this device if you are suffering from a skin or nail disease.
8. For extremely thick callus, dermatitis, or blood circulation disorder, please consult with your doctor before use.
9. Wipe this product with a dry cloth; do not use chemical agents e.g. benzene alcohol.
10. Lay coverings on the floor (such as a mat) when using this device, as callus debris may fly about.
11. Store this device in a dry area.
12. Make sure the abrasive plate is in normal condition before use. Any malfunction, distortion or damage may cause skin injury.
13. Do not push the abrasive plate forcefully; stopping the abrasive plate during operation may lead to overload, causing malfunction.
14. Do not concentrate the abrasive plate on one area of the skin for a long period of time; this may generate frictional heat, possibly causing pain and injury.
15. Do not use this device on one area for more than 10 minutes at a time.

Safety Instructions

When using the electric Exfoliare, basic precautions should always be followed. Please read all safety instructions before using this device:

1. Connect to a properly grounded outlet only.
2. Only use indoors.
3. Use only as described by the user manual.
4. Use only for body exfoliation.
5. Unplug from power outlet when not in use.
6. Do not allow the device to be used as a toy.
7. Do not use if the cord or plug appears to be damaged.
8. If the device is not functioning properly, or has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water; do not use.
9. Do not pull, lift, or carry by the power cord.
10. Do not use the cord as a handle, or pull the cord around or against sharp edges and corners.
11. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
12. Turn off all controls before unplugging the device from an outlet.
13. Grasp the plug itself, not the cord, when unplugging.
14. Do not handle the plug or device with wet hands or apply next to wet skin.
15. Do not operate the device in areas where flammable or combustible products or vapors may be present.
16. Clean only with soft brush or cloth. NEVER immerse or wash the device with water.
